OSA MEMBER INTERVIEW
Looking at 2009 for the Industry and OSA
One of the founding members of OSA, Jaspersoft has been a key player within the consortium and the wider industry – it's list of integration partners is long and deep. With large-scale changes underway in the industry because of the credit crisis and recession, and within OSA because of leadership changes, OSA Alert sought insight on these transitions from Jaspersoft's CEO, Brian Gentile.

New Leadership Edition
As the OSA's founding President, Dominic Sartorio of SpikeSource, completes his run, a new leadership team takes over this month. Anthony Gold, vice president and general manager of open source business at Unisys, now fills the position of President. The organization has also formalized several other leadership roles, including:
  • Marketing Chair: Scott Barnett, co-founder and COO of Bluenog
  • Community Development Chair: Gopi Ganapathy, founder and CEO of Essentia
  • Interoperability Co-Chairs: Mike Moody, Jaspersoft, and Uwe Vielle, Unisys

OSA Alert caught up with the outgoing and incoming presidents, as well as the new marketing chair, to get their thoughts on the transition. Next month we'll hear from the rest of the team.
