Vietnam, Floods and Landslides Wreaked Havoc

Floods and landslides have wreaked havoc in Vietnam.

Floods and landslides have killed more than 100 people, including soldiers, in various accidents, while many others are missing.

The Red Cross also warns that millions of people are in dire need of shelter, clean drinking water, and food to avoid any serious humanitarian crisis.

The President of the Vietnam Red Cross Society says that such catastrophic floods have never been seen in the history of the country, millions of people could reach the brink of poverty.

He said that so far more than Rs. 5 crores has been provided to help the affected while floods have affected 178,000 houses and destroyed crops.
